MRG Construction employs a dedicated staff of individuals to provide a full range of construction management needs. In order to complete your project successfully, our team will fulfill all preconstruction requirements, subcontractor selection, construction management and initial scheduling. The assigned project manager will be the point person for all project‐related correspondence and inquiries. One of our highly – qualified superintendents will provide full‐time, on site construction supervision throughout the length of the project, including subcontractor coordination, final scheduling and quality control procedures, while ensuring all work conforms to the drawings and specifications. The project manager and site superintendent will both attend weekly project meetings with your team.
Matt Genzale is a graduate of Boston University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Matt has more than 16 years of experience in the commercial construction industry and has extensive experience in each of MRG Construction Management’s targeted commercial sectors. As a Senior Project Manager for the majority of his professional career, Matt has an abundance of experience overseeing all aspects of the general contracting and construction management services provided by MRG Construction Management. As principal of MRG Construction Management, Matt will manage all aspects of day‐to‐day business practices, finances, estimating duties, and operations. Additionally, Matt will also drive MRG Construction Management’s strategic positioning, marketing, and business development to create and cultivate lasting relationships throughout the industry.
Business Administration/Business Development
Rich wears many hats at MRG, which is why his importance to the company has grown steadily since his hire in 2012. With over 15 years of managerial experience, Rich understand the needs of our employees, subcontractors, and most importantly, our customers. Rich has taken on many of the most important aspects of the business administration side of MRG. He is responsible for oversight and management of all internal aspects of Human Resources, Insurance, Subcontracts, and Information Technology and serves as the liaison to our outside consultants in these areas. In addition to these responsibilities, Rich has also been instrumental in the Business Development side of the company and has secured several of the long-term customers that we are most proud to serve today.
Rick has been with the company since its inception and has worked in many roles such as, Project Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, to his current role as Project Manager. Rick has been in the construction business for 18 years beginning as an Electrician. As a Project Manager for MRG, he is responsible for all aspects of a project including: budgeting, bidding contracts, adhering to a construction schedule and completing a thorough punch list at the end of each project. Rick’s personality has allowed him to build a great rapport with subcontractors to ensure they exceed MRG and our client’s needs. As a result of his strong work ethic, many of our best customers have requested MRG to assign Rick to their projects.
Scott R. Pearl, Esq.
Scott graduated from Suffolk University in 1999 and Suffolk Law School in 2002. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. With a strong legal background and extensive experience in litigation, Scott serves as the General Counsel for MRG in addition to his daily responsibilities as a Construction Project Manager. His exceptional organizational skills and professional demeanor make him an excellent addition to the team. Scott has proven himself to be very dedicated, intelligent and hardworking since his hire in 2016.
Jill graduated from Stonehill College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She began working as an Administrative Assistant at MRG in July of 2015 and now currently works as the Human Resources representative for MRG. She has been instrumental in the establishment of company policies and procedures that all employees follow on a day-to-day basis. Jill has also been helpful with the Business Development of MRG and our ability to find new clients.
Kelsey graduated from UMass Dartmouth in May of 2015. During her time at UMass Dartmouth, she managed to balance both academics and sports. While pursuing a degree in English, Kelsey was also a four year member of the Women’s Varsity Basketball Team. Kelsey began working with MRG in January of 2016 as the Administrative Assistant for our Project Managers. Her responsibilities as Administrative Assistant include: organizing office paperwork, assisting with contracts and change orders, updating project folders in our computer database and maintaining our filing system. Her strong time-management and organizational skills have led her to be very successful in this position.
Stephanie Blomberg joined the MRG team as an Administrative Assistant in 2017. She is a graduate of Endicott College and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. With over 8 years of professional experience, Stephanie brings with her an impressive background as a Design Assistant and a District Visual Manager for various retail stores. Since her date of hire, Stephanie has proven herself to be a hard and efficient worker capable of meeting all her deadlines. Aside from making strides for efficiency in the office, Stephanie also used her Interior Design expertise to play an intricate role in the design of our new office space.
