Matt Genzale

President

Matt Genzale is a graduate of Boston University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Matt has more than 16 years of experience in the commercial construction industry and has extensive experience in each of MRG Construction Management’s targeted commercial sectors. As principal of MRG Construction Management, Matt will manage all aspects of day‐to‐day business practices, finances, estimating duties, and operations. Additionally, Matt will also drive MRG Construction Management’s strategic positioning, marketing, and business development to create and cultivate lasting relationships throughout the industry.

Where can we find you on a Sunday morning? I’m usually spending time with the wife and kids. Coaching little league, soccer or basketball.

Rich Yebba

Vice President of Business Administration

Rich wears many hats at MRG, which is why his importance to the company has grown steadily since his hire in 2012. With over 15 years of managerial experience, Rich understand the needs of our employees, subcontractors, and most importantly, our customers. He is responsible for oversight and management of all internal aspects of Human Resources, Insurance, Subcontracts, and Information Technology and serves as the liaison to our outside consultants in these areas. In addition to these responsibilities, Rich has also been instrumental in the Business Development side of the company and has secured several of the long-term customers that we are most proud to serve today.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself: I threw a really good curveball in my baseball days

Steve Carreiro

Operations Manager | Project Manager

Steve joined MRG in late 2018 as Operations Manager. Steve brings strong leadership skills from his training in the United States Marine Corps to motivate and lead our Team of PM’s and Supers to positive solutions. Steve has more than 15 years of Management experience as an owner in the Boston Restaurant and Lounge scene as well as Residential and Commercial Construction. Holding certifications with Carlisle, James Hardie and GAF to name a few, his knowledge with the building trades will help ensure specs are followed on projects. Steve will help oversee your project from pre-construction and permitting to punch list and final.

Stephanie Blomberg

Sales | Marketing | Business Development

Stephanie Blomberg joined the MRG in March of 2017.  She is a graduate of Endicott College and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. With over 8 years of professional experience, Stephanie brings with her an impressive background as a Design Assistant and a District Visual Manager for various retail stores. She now represents MRG in the areas of Business Development, Marketing and Sales.

What is your personal motto? Henry David Thoreau said it better but I certainly try to live by his motto “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined!”

Courtney Genzale

Controller

As controller, Courtney is responsible for MRG’s financial statements, budgeting, cost analysis, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, tax compliance and other special analyses. Courtney holds a Bachelors degree from Bryant University in Accounting and an MBA from UMass Amherst. Before joining MRG, Courtney worked as an international accountant and later an assistant controller at Advent International.

 

Rick DeLoreto

Project Manager

Rick has been with the company since its inception and has worked in many roles such as, Project Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, to his current role as Project Manager.  Rick has been in the construction business for 18 years beginning as an Electrician.  Rick’s personality has allowed him to build a great rapport with subcontractors to ensure they exceed MRG and our client’s needs. As a result of his strong work ethic, many of our best customers have requested MRG to assign Rick to their projects.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself: I played the trumpet when I was a kid.

Scott R. Pearl, Esq.

Project Manager

Scott graduated from Suffolk University in 1999 and Suffolk Law School in 2002.  He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.  With a strong legal background and extensive experience in litigation, Scott serves as the General Counsel for MRG in addition to his daily responsibilities as a Construction Project Manager. His exceptional organizational skills and professional demeanor make him an excellent addition to the team.  Scott has proven himself to be very dedicated, intelligent and hardworking since his hire in 2016.

Carmen Parisi

Project Manager

Carmen joined MRG in 2017 with more then 20 years of construction background. After high school, Carmen started his apprenticeship as an electrician and four years later received his electrical license. He soon had an opportunity to become a site supervisor. Carmen received his construction supervisors license a year later. Two years later he received his master electrical license. Carmen then decided to go out on his own and worked for himself for 8 years. Carmen still enjoys the problem solving and watching a project come together from the beginning to the end. And still learn little things from all trades. When not working Carmen enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and extended family.     

 

Ashlee Thurlow

Project Management Administrator

In 2007, Ashlee graduated from the Culinary Institute of America with an Associates Degree in Occupational Studies with a concentration in Baking and Pastry Arts.  Since then, Ashlee has worked all over the country putting my degree to use.  She was the Assistant Pastry Chef for the NHL team, the Phoenix Coyotes, a Pastry Assistant in a well known NYC restaurant, and the Executive Pastry Chef of a Local Italian Restaurant in NH.  Now with 2 children, Ashlee has chosen to change career paths. While at MRG, I’m hoping to gain more knowledge and understandings of the construction management field.
